Senior Project Manager

Are you an experience Senior Project Manager ready for a new step in your career? Our client is expanding their business and needs the right candidate to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of civil infrastructure projects across Canterbury. You'll lead the delivery of multiple civil projects, working closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably. Alongside project delivery, you'll play a key role in stakeholder management, commercial performance, and leadership to Project Managers, Engineers and other internal staff. Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery of civil infrastructure projects across drainage, utilities, earthworks, roading, and associated civil works Manage project programmes, resources, budgets, and subcontractors Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with contractual requirements Drive commercial performance through effective forecasting, cost control, and risk management Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, councils, and key stakeholders Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Engineers, Site Managers, and delivery teams Champion quality, safety, and environmental best practice across all project activities Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiencies.
