About the role
Are you an HR expert with a passion for building exceptional workplace cultures? We're looking for a dynamic People and Culture Business Partner to make a lasting impact on our organisation's success!
Reporting to the People and Culture Lead, this role is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of people and culture solutions that align with company objectives and strategy. This role is also responsible for providing business partnering to the company on a broad range of HR policies and practices.
Other duties include:
- Participate in coaching, counselling, and advising management and staff to ensure resolution of employment related matters
- Ensure knowledge of employment law is kept up-to-date and ensure regulatory compliance with legal requirements among business units
- Providing interpretation and counsel line managers regarding policies, programmes and practices
- Partner with internal stakeholders to implement strategies for employee engagement and retention
- Ensure the HR processes and documentation keep pace with the company growth and objectives
- Collaborate with leaders to set performance expectations, conduct performance reviews, and identify opportunities for skill development
- Work closely with leadership to assess and optimise organisational structure for efficiency and effectiveness
- Drive initiatives that promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
- Review and enhance communication materials and craft impactful letters, announcements, and communications
- 3 + years of proven experience in an HR role with a focus on P&C business partnering.
- Strong expertise in employee relations, including a thorough understanding of New Zealand employment laws/legislation
- Ability to interact and influence at an executive/strategic level
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws, performance management, and organisational development
- Exceptional communication skills with a keen eye for detail in crafting impactful communications
- Proactive mindset with the ability to drive change and innovation within the organisation
