About the Role We are seeking an experienced Equity Coordinator to join our Chronic Conditions Services, here at Waikato Hospital, Hamilton. As a successful Equity Coordinator, you will play a key role in identifying and locating patients who have experienced failuretoserve occurrences, supporting them to attend their clinic appointments, and developing solutions to remove barriers to access. You will also engage key stakeholders to drive reductions in failuretoserve rates and report your findings to service management, including clear recommendations on the resources required to sustain and strengthen the Equity role. Key responsibilities The Equity Coordinator role is essential in assisting with the smooth running of the Chronic Conditions Services. The role includes Coordinate communications, documentation and approvals while maintaining effective stakeholder relationships. Support project planning, scheduling and governance in line with established frameworks. Monitor project plans, budgets, risks and documentation systems to ensure delivery against timelines. Identify and scope opportunities for innovation and business improvement. Provide meeting support, administrative assistance and general project coordination as required About the Team/Service Waikato Hospital in Hamilton is one of New Zealands largest tertiary, teaching hospitals. About you As an Equity Coordinator in our Chronic Conditions Services, we are looking for people who have/are: Proven competence with Microsoft Office Suite / data entry / typing/email Previous administration experience Organised, efficient and able to prioritise their workload effectively Detail oriented Experience in a health environment or knowledge of clinical terminology would be an advantage, but not essential.
