This role plays an important part in residents’ daily wellbeing.Role is for Thursday and Friday - 19 hours per week. Key responsibilities Assist the Chef with food preparation and presentation Support meal service and kitchen operations Maintain high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness Clean kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils Skills & experience You’ll be successful if you bring: Experience as a kitchen assistant, cleaner, or similar role Strong focus on hygiene, cleanliness, and safety Reliable, friendly, and professional manner Ability to manage a mix of kitchen and housekeeping tasks Respect for residents’ cultural and personal needs Food safety knowledge, hospitality experience, or first aid (desirable) NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa essential as we are unable to provide visa support for this role Benefits At Alden, you’ll enjoy a rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference in the lives of elderly residents in your community.
