United Flower Growers - Wigram, South Island Flower Trader (Wholesale Account Manager) - Christchurch If you're confident on the phone, sharp with admin, and don't mind getting your hands dirty, this could be your next step. We're looking for someone who can take ownership of a busy wholesale area by managing customer accounts, driving sales, and keeping things running smoothly day to day. This is a hands-on role, not a desk job. You'll need to be comfortable working at pace, switching between sales, admin, and being physical on the floor. You will be on our market floor selling goods in person, over the phone, and online while handling physical product. Floral experience helps, but attitude, work ethic, and sales ability matter more. What you'll be doing: Managing and growing a portfolio of customer accounts Proactively calling customers to drive sales and follow up orders Handling admin accurately, invoicing, order entry, and tracking Working on the floor: merchandising, stock handling, packing flowers, and presentation Packing orders and supporting dispatch when needed Keeping things moving in a fast-paced, early-start environment What we're looking for: Proven sales or account management experience Confident picking up the phone and closing business Strong attention to detail and solid computer/admin skills Able to work at pace and stay organised under pressure Physically capable and happy to be hands on Reliable, proactive, and takes ownership What's in it for you: Early starts and early finishes (5am starts) Supportive, high performing team A role with real ownership and variety Opportunity to grow as the business grows #J-18808-Ljbffr
