Housekeeping Supervisor

We are looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor Someone with an eye for detail and a desire to provide housekeeping service at the highest level. The successful applicant with be willing to work on a rostered basis, including weekends. Some turn down shifts during the evenings will be required. The position involves working with our Executive Housekeeper to maintain the exemplary appearance standards of our lodge; including rooms, public areas and back of house. You will be required to allocate rooms and duties to housekeeping staff, to inspect rooms and to train new employees. You should have NZQF level 4 or equivalent or at least 3 years relevant experience. We have a family based work culture, but remain fully professional in our approach. We try to maintain a sense of work life balance and encourage all employees to partake in and enjoy all that this region has to offer. Staff accommodation is available in Glenorchy. However a means of transport to get to and from work is essential. This is a full time, permanent position with a minimum of thirty hours per week. The minimum rate of pay is $28 per hour and the maximum is $30 per hour. All leave entitlements are as per New Zealand legislation.
