We are seeking a Life & Health Adviser to join our East Tamaki team. We are ideally looking for an experienced adviser; however, we are also interested in hearing from advisers with a solid foundation in Life & Health insurance who are ready to take the next step in their career. About the Role You will be responsible for managing and growing an existing portfolio of clients while developing new business opportunities and delivering high-quality advice and service. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and professional advice Provide tailored Life & Health insurance solutions that meet clients' individual and business needs Grow and maintain your portfolio through referrals, lead conversion, networking and business development activities Identify and maximise cross-selling opportunities from PIC's commercial, domestic and employee benefits client base Ensure high levels of client satisfaction, retention and engagement Maintain accurate records and comply with all relevant regulatory and compliance requirements Contribute positively to the culture and success of the wider PIC team About You We are looking for a motivated and client-focused adviser who is passionate about delivering great outcomes for clients and building long-term relationships. You will have: NZ Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5 – Life & Health strand) A minimum of 2–3 years' experience providing Life & Health insurance advice within the New Zealand market Strong knowledge of Life & Health insurance products and advice processes A proven ability to develop and maintain lasting client relationships Strong business development skills and the confidence to identify and convert new opportunities Excellent communication, relationship-building and presentation skills Strong organisational skills and attention to detail A commitment to delivering outstanding client service and maintaining compliance standards Confidence using Microsoft Office and relevant industry software Experience in employee benefits, key person insurance, shareholder protection or other business insurance solutions would be advantageous. For more experienced advisers, there is scope to step into a senior position and take ownership of a larger portfolio. Why Join PIC?
