About the role: We are looking for a talented and passionate Concierge to assist Front Office team to deliver outstanding guest service experience at Fable Christchurch Hotel. The right person for this role consistently has a proactive attitude towards our guests, making them feel special and naturally welcome to our hotel. You have a passion to provide excellent customer services and strive to improve on your services. This position will give you the unique opportunity to engage with a variety of guest, both from New Zealand and internationally who have high expectations around quality, personal and unique experiences. Responsibilities will include: Welcoming guests & assisting with luggage and parking Answering guest queries Recommend & organize tours, activities, restaurant reservations Deal with challenging situations and special requests To be a role model for the team when it comes to delivering exceptional guest service. Maintain, share and inculcate the brand standards of the hotel across the Concierge team in conjunction with the Head of Department The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel environment is preferred Physically able to lift and carry luggage Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal New Zealand citizenship, residency or a current valid work permit. Immaculate personal presentation and grooming standards.
