Larnach Castle is seeking a passionate, professional, and service-focused Camp Estate Host to join our team at Camp Estate, our exclusive 5-star luxury lodge. This is a unique opportunity for someone who takes pride in exceptional hospitality and enjoys creating memorable, personalised experiences for every guest. About the Role: As Camp Estate Host, you will be the welcoming face, ensuring every guest receives a warm, professional, and seamless experience from arrival to departure. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing and serving high-quality gourmet breakfasts to a 5-star standard Welcoming guests and providing attentive, personalised service throughout their stay Managing guest check-ins, check-outs, and assisting with reservations Providing warm evening hosting, including canapés, drinks, and shuttle transfers to Larnach Castle Maintaining guest rooms and shared areas to an exceptional standard of cleanliness and presentation Anticipating guest needs and going above and beyond to create memorable experiences Assisting with light gardening and general lodge upkeep including housekeeping Working collaboratively with other departments at Larnach Castle to ensure outstanding guest service About You: We are looking for someone who is confident, polished, and genuinely passionate about hospitality. You will ideally have: At least 6 months' experience in high-end accommodation, hospitality, or tourism Experience in a 4-star or 5-star property is preferred Strong cooking skills and an eye for excellent food presentation Exceptional attention to cleanliness, detail, and presentation Warm, genuine, and confident communication skills A professional and guest-focused approach A full New Zealand driver licence Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays Multilingual skills are highly advantageous Staff discounts in our accommodation, café, dinner service, and gift shop.
