Studio Rubix is seeking an Experienced Personal Trainer / Exercise Specialist to join our dynamic team in Palmerston North, Manawatu. This is a part-time position with scope to become full-time that offers flexibility whilst allowing you to make a meaningful impact on our clients' fitness journeys. As an Experienced Personal Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, personalised training programmes to our diverse clientele, helping them achieve their health and wellness goals. This role is integral to maintaining Studio Rubix's reputation for excellence and client satisfaction within the fitness and personal training industry. What you'll be doing Conduct comprehensive fitness assessments and consultations with new and existing clients to understand their goals, limitations and health history Design and implement tailored, results-driven training programmes that are safe, effective and aligned with individual client objectives Monitor and track client progress through regular assessments, measurements and feedback sessions Motivate and support clients throughout their fitness journey, maintaining high levels of professionalism and enthusiasm Maintain detailed client records and training logs to ensure continuity of care and programme effectiveness Stay current with industry trends, fitness research and best practices to continually enhance service quality Contribute to a positive studio atmosphere by building strong client relationships and promoting a supportive community culture What we're looking for Current personal training qualification or degree in exercise related field Minimum of 1 year demonstrated experience as a personal trainer in a professional fitness setting Strong knowledge of exercise science, anatomy, physiology and biomechanics Proven ability to design and modify training programmes for clients of varying fitness levels and with different health considerations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire diverse clientele Brings energy to our environment is a strong team player Certification in First Aid and CPR (current and valid) Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in maintaining client records and programme documentation Passion for fitness and genuine commitment to helping clients achieve their health and wellness goals Professional, reliable and punctual approach to work Preferred: experience or certification in Reformer Pilates What we offer Studio Rubix is committed to creating a rewarding and supportive work environment for our team members.
