Automated Machinery Startup - Engineers Wanted Construction is the world's third largest industry, yet it is the industry that technology forgot. Stansted is an early-stage robotics startup that is building a small, focused and highly capable team transitioning labour-intensive construction towards automated off-site manufacturing and on-site rapid assembly. The first stage is a robotic manufacturing system that automates the production of timber framing for residential construction. The prototype has been developed, a patent has been filed and venture funding has been raised to build the first commercial system. Stansted is looking for engineers to establish the mechanical, controls & software foundations of the company: Commercial experience in automated machinery or robotics. Confident in prototyping, design, assembly, and testing. Eager to learn, solve unfamiliar problems and adapt on the fly. Ability to work extended hours and weekends to support critical milestones.
