Junior Software Developer

Initially you'll focus on learning our existing application platform and supporting ongoing product development. As your skills grow, you'll begin designing new functionality and contributing to the future redevelopment of our software using modern technologies. This role offers an excellent balance of maintaining proven enterprise software while helping transition the business toward a modern SaaS architecture. Key responsibilities Learn and develop within our existing warehouse management platform Design and maintain Microsoft SQL databases Analyse customer requirements and build practical software solutions Troubleshoot and resolve software issues Work closely with senior developers to expand your technical capability Contribute ideas toward future product architecture and modernisation About you A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field Strong SQL and database fundamentals Experience with C#, .NET or similar modern programming languages An understanding of relational database design Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Curious and self-motivated A fast learner who enjoys mastering new technologies Comfortable working independently Happy to ask questions when needed Someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems About us Basis Developments has been developing warehouse management software for over 30 years.
