The Orion Group is a privately-owned Company that specialises in cartage of stock feeds, from raw material stores and feed mills to farms throughout New Zealand. We are seeking an organised and proactive Operations and Despatch Administrator to join our Stratford team. This is a varied role where you'll play an integral part in supporting our Operations and Despatch Team, ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of our transport operations. Working closely with our operations team, you'll be responsible for order entry, administration, compliance documentation, customer communication and providing administrative support to help keep our trucks moving safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Complete day-to-day operations and despatch administration. Process customer orders and provide load planning support. Maintain accurate operational, compliance and customer records. Respond promptly to customer enquiries and provide timely updates.Support the wider operations team to ensure efficient daily operations. Ensure documentation is completed accurately and within required timeframes. Skills and Experience To be successful in this role, you will have: Previous experience in operations and despatch administration. Knowledge of the transport industry. Strong office administration experience. Excellent customer service and telephone communication skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlines. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience using MyTrucking and/or M2X (advantageous). Clear written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability. A high level of personal integrity. The ability to remain calm and organised in a busy environment.
