The firm is a leader in all the key markets that it serves, including education, sports clubs, and local government. About the Role To conduct QC inspection, testing and sampling of finished product ensuring all products leaving the factory is of the highest standard. Assist with rolling up and wrapping finished grass, and preparation of samples. Key Responsibilities Check backing machine is operating inside normal operating parameters Conduct final inspection of all product Record and quarantine product with defects Inform relevant person when potential faults are found Cut and record samples of finished product Conduct testing on all cut samples Assist with rolling up and wrapping of finished grass Assist with loading backing machine Assist on any other machine in the factory when requested Run Roll Up Machine when required Report any health and safety issues immediately Key Requirements QC experience in a manufacturing environment Great verbal and written communication skills Comfortable working with computers Understanding of Health & Safety regulations and good practice Able to prioritize activities through the day Current fork hoist certificate is desirable. Must have NZ residency or valid work visa. What You’re Like You’re reliable and show up on time Have a keen attention to detail You can work independently but also in a team You care about safety and doing the job right Physically fit and mobile Hours The factory runs Monday-Thursday, overtime is often available on Fridays and occasionally on Saturdays.
