Weekend Driver - Nelson

Our Nelson team are looking for a Class 1 Driver to join our close-knit team on a permanent part-time basis, working Saturday & Sunday 4.5 Hours per day with flexibility for additional days required from time to time and might have some public holiday work if required. You will be responsible for Operating our industry specific trucks to collect general waste Assisting in cleaning, preparation and delivering of bins, bin maintenance, repairs, and bin painting. Daily vehicle checks and adhering to high levels of health and safety There is a physical aspect with regular manual handling, so if you like to keep fit while you work, this is the right job for you. To be successful, you will have: A clean Class 1 or above licence Forklift endorsements are a bonus but not essential, we can train you. Good geographical area knowledge around Nelson and surrounding areas An understanding of Health & Safety and NZTA’s Worktime and Logbook requirements A Supportive and Respectful attitude towards others Safety and wellbeing are paramount to us, so our recruitment process involves a Ministry of Justice criminal background check, and a pre-employment medical including drug test.
