Child Care Programme Assistant

Meadowbank School is seeking a passionate and experienced Programme Assistant to join our team. As a casual employee, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of our high-quality before and after school care programme. The programme is based in Meadowbank, Auckland, providing a safe and nurturing environment for primary school children. What you'll be doing Assisting with the planning and implementation of engaging, age-appropriate activities for children Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children in the programme Monitoring and supervising children during before and after school hours Communicating effectively with parents and caregivers Maintaining accurate records and documentation as required Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures and regulations What we're looking for Relevant experience working with children in a before/after school care or early childhood education setting A genuine passion for supporting the social, emotional and educational development of primary school-aged children Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children and their families A team-oriented mindset and the flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the programme A clean police check and the right to work in New Zealand About us Meadowbank School is a well-established primary school in the heart of Meadowbank, Auckland.
