Nightworks Studio is a premium lighting design studio based in central Christchurch. We are now experiencing an exciting stage of growth where we have an opportunity for a proactive Production Assistant to join us in our dedicated production and design facility. You will be responsible for assembling and finishing a range of luxury lighting products, you must have a great attention to detail and an appreciation for quality. Key responsibilities Assembly of electrical lighting products Sanding, soldering and hand finishing brass products within set time-frames Quality control of finished products Light use of machinery and tools Liaising with local suppliers Collecting items from local suppliers (use of company vehicle) Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace Packing and dispatching of customer orders What do you need to have? Excellent attention to detail and pride in your work Self-motivation and problem solving skills A willingness and interest to learn Reliability and punctuality The ability to juggle multiple jobs at once Experience in a similar role is ideal, however training will be provided Machining workshop / electrical experience preferred Clean, full NZ drivers licence Who are we?
