Business Operations Support 12 Month Fixed-Term Maternity Cover Customer Service & Business Operations Support – 12-Month Fixed-Term Maternity Cover – Christchurch. We're looking for an organised, switched-on customer service professional who is ready to get stuck in and take ownership in a busy small-team environment. Join a small, close-knit team working within the farming and recycling industry. This is a varied role combining customer service, administration, logistics coordination and commercial support. You'll be dealing with customers and key stakeholders, coordinating export shipments and containers, and working closely with internal teams and external service providers to keep things moving. Full on-the-job training will be provided, so while industry experience would be beneficial, we're more interested in finding someone who is organised, confident and picks things up quickly. What you'll be doing: Managing a high volume of customer enquiries by phone and email Taking enquiries through to resolution and following up as required Coordinating export containers and liaising with customers, collectors and brokers Coordinating product for container loading Keeping accurate records and ensuring actions are followed through Working alongside the Commercial Manager to support sales and inventory requirements Identifying opportunities and building strong customer relationships Reporting on activity and results Supporting the wider team wherever needed About you: 2+ years' experience in customer service, administration, business support or coordination Excellent communication skills and a confident phone manner Highly organised with strong attention to detail Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems Able to manage competing priorities and solve problems Confident dealing with customers, suppliers and key stakeholders Proactive, reliable and ready to get stuck in Legal working rights in NZ $60,000-$70,000 per annum, depending on experience Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm If you're organised, detail-focused and ready to get stuck in, we'd like to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
