About the Role (aka Why This Job Rocks): You’ll be the person behind the scenes making sure our boilers behave like the reliable stars they are. Think of yourself as the Guardian of Steam - keeping pressure, temperature and flow in check so production never skips a beat. In this role you’ll: Watch gauges, dials and screens like a hawk- pressure, temp, water and fuel levels are all part of your radar. Perform routine maintenance and mechanical TLC -keep things clean, tuned and trouble‑free. Log your wizardry -accurate records matter when you’re running the steam show. Lead safety like a pro -test safety devices, own the protocols, keep everyone and everything protected. Work with some great humans- from engineering to production, communication is part of the magic. Who You Are: A mechanical thinker who enjoys keeping big, hot systems happy. A natural problem‑solver - you spot anomalies before they become alarms. Safety‑driven, detail‑obsessed and organised (a tidy boiler room is a happy boiler room). Comfortable with a roster that gives you life outside work: 4 on / 4 off. What Makes You a Legend Here: NZ Certificate in Energy & Chemical Process Ops (Level 4) - or Level 3 on track to Level 4. International candidates are welcome to apply. If your qualification is gained overseas, it must be equivalent to a NZ Level 3 Certificate in Energy & Chemcial Process Ops Experience in industrial settings where uptime is the name of the game. Skills in monitoring controls, performing maintenance and writing clear reports.
