The Role We're looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead our factory floor and help us keep our promise of quality to every customer. This is a pivotal role in our business - you'll be the link between our production team and management, keeping the line running smoothly, safely, and to standard. Reporting to: Factory Manager / Operations Manager Location: Philipstown, Christchurch Hours: Full-time, Tuesday-Friday: 6.30am - 3.00pm; Saturday 5.30am - 2.00pm What You'll Be Doing Leading the floor : with direction from the Factory Manager you will be directing process staff, training new team members, and keeping the production line moving efficiently Quality & compliance : ensuring Food Safety Standards are met across organic and non-organic production, running hourly quality checks, and reporting non-conformances Health & safety : making sure machinery is operated safely, PPE is worn correctly, and cleaning schedules are followed Process work : hands-on involvement in rolling, flow wrapping, packaging, and box filling People development : providing feedback, running competency assessments, and supporting staff time management Warehouse & stock : supporting inwards goods checks, stock rotation, and warehouse tidiness What You'll Bring Sound knowledge of production/manufacturing processes Solid administrative and organisational skills Excellent verbal and written communication - including confidence handling conflict A current First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain one) A high level of self-motivation, comfortable working without close supervision Ability to stay calm and prioritise under pressure as deadlines shift A flexible, solutions-focused, team-first attitude What we offer Just some of what we offer: Hours structured to give you your afternoons back A really great team to work with Part of a wider group with growth opportunities We are an Accredited Employer and welcome applications from those who have current working rights in New Zealand. #J-18808-Ljbffr
