Compliance Administrator Location: Northland Employment Type: Full-time Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00am–5.00pm (40 hours per week) Work Arrangement: Office-based Are you an experienced administrator with a strong eye for detail and an interest in compliance? Our client is looking for a Compliance Administrator to join their administration team in this varied and important role. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will support the business across tax administration, AML/CFT, trusts, ACC and general client services . About the role This is more than a traditional administration position. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance systems, records and processes are accurate, up to date and aligned with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will include: Administering tax processes, including tax returns, payment letters, provisional tax and IRD correspondence. Managing trust information, reviews and compliance requirements. Supporting AML/CFT processes, CDD approvals, risk assessments and monthly audits. Preparing and filing prescribed transaction reports when required. Researching and interpreting relevant legislation and regulatory requirements. Providing client services and administration support during busy periods and staff absences. Providing reception cover and responding to client enquiries. Preparing reports, correspondence and documentation. Maintaining accurate records and supporting continuous improvement of compliance processes. About you We are looking for someone who is: Highly organised with excellent attention to detail. Experienced in administration, ideally within accounting, legal, financial or professional services. Confident working with legislation, compliance requirements and confidential information. A strong communicator who builds positive relationships. Able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. Comfortable working independently while being a strong team player. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Professional, dependable and customer focused.
