This is a diverse role offering a mix of installation, servicing, testing, inspections, fault finding, and maintenance of fire detection systems across commercial, industrial, and residential sites. Key responsibilities Installation of fire detection and alarm systems Routine testing and compliance inspections Preventative maintenance and servicing Fault finding and repairs Site surveys and system assessments Maintaining accurate service documentation Delivering excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with New Zealand standards About you New Zealand Certificate in Fire Detection and Alarm Systems (Level 4) or equivalent experience, or be a Registered Electrician with a genuine interest in transitioning into the fire protection industry Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities High attention to detail and pride in your workmanship Excellent communication and customer service skills A current Full New Zealand Driver Licence The ability to work independently and within a team Competitive remuneration based on experience Company vehicle, phone, and specialist equipment (where applicable) Ongoing training and professional development Support towards industry qualifications and career progression A supportive team culture where your contribution is valued A varied role with opportunities to grow your skills Shared on-call roster, with an allowance paid for being on call and additional remuneration for any call-outs About us We're a growing New Zealand fire protection company committed to delivering high-quality fire detection solutions and exceptional customer service. #J-18808-Ljbffr
