The Role: Reporting through the Finance function and partnering closely with the Supply Chain leadership team, this is a hands-on commercial finance role with significant exposure to senior Supply Chain stakeholders,supporting Warehousing, Distribution, Delivery, Logistics and EQS across the NZ Supply Chain network. With transactional reporting now based in Manila, you’ll own the insight layer, reviewing outputs, spotting trends, and translating numbers into commercial decisions the business can act on. Key Responsibilities: Business partner with Warehousing, Distribution, Delivery, Logistics and EQS stakeholders to support commercial decision-making Lead month end, budgeting, and forecasting for the function Review and challenge reporting produced by the Manila team, ensuring outputs are accurate, meaningful, and commercially useful Convert operational initiatives into robust financial models, scenarios, and business cases Drive cost-saving, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives Monitor KPIs, identify trends, and flag risks and opportunities early Provide constructive challenge to operational stakeholders, helping shape commercially sound decisions Support ad hoc analysis for senior stakeholders across Supply Chain Key Skills & Experience Required: Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supply chain environment; FMCG exposure useful but not essential Strong Excel and financial modelling capability; SAP, Power BI or large ERP experience would be advantageous Strong commercial orientation, with the ability to move beyond transactional reporting into insight, challenge and decision support. Confident challenging and pushing back on stakeholder thinking, not just executing it Confident working with senior, detail-oriented stakeholders in a fast-paced operational environment Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce; CA or equivalent desirable Experience working alongside an offshore or shared services team advantageous What’s in it for you: This is a high-visibility role at a genuinely global business, with the transactional workload already handled offshore so you can focus on the commercial thinking that actually moves the needle.
