All about the job This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced lifeguard who is readyto step into a leadership role in aquatics. In this role you will: activelysupervise our poolside staff to ensure our pools are safe at all times bring anengaging leadership style to work to positively motivate our poolsidestaff share ourpassion for providing an exceptional customer experience every time provide avalued service to our community and the visitors to our city All about you It would be great if you hold a current firstaid certificate and a National Lifeguards Award (pools). You will need to showus that you: are highlymotivated and super organised are motivatedby providing exceptional customer service to our community caneffectively lead others in an engaging way are a strongswimmer and can maintain a suitable level of swimming fitness will bringyour initiative to work and enjoy rolling up your sleeves to get the job done You must alsobe able to: pass a swimmingcompetency test including swimming 200m in 6 minutes pass Police Vettingunder the Children’s Act 2014, and a pre-employment drug test. obtain and maintainthe National Lifeguard Award (Pools) (you must be 16 years or older) The hours will be rostered on a monthly rosterand will be a minimum of 36 hours per week. You must have availability to workany day of the week and weekend, including shifts starting at 5:00am and othershifts finishing at 10:00pm.
