Role Focus A commercial advisory role that: Leads estimation on major projects nationally Leads and/or supports commercial negotiations on major projects Provides procurement model and delivery strategy advice for infrastructure clients Mentoring and people leadership Key Responsibilities Acts as WT's senior estimator and commercial advisor on major infrastructure projects and the project lead Leads and/or supports negotiations for work packages and contract close-out on projects Leads and/or supports peer review and parallel estimating deliverables Carries out internal reviews of project estimates prior to negotiation with contractor's / parallel estimators Helps to establish projects plans and estimating strategies for large complex projects Establishes commercial frameworks that are market-aligned, risk-appropriate and contractually clear Provides independent advice on risk allocation, pricing approach, and contractual structure Procurement & Delivery Strategy Advisory Advises clients on procurement model selection (ECI, D&C, alliance, hybrids) Supports early project decisions around packaging, market engagement, and risk allocation Peer-review procurement strategies and commercial approaches for WT clients Provides independent advice on transitioning from ECI or preferred-contractor into contracts Client Advisory & Governance Support Acts as a trusted advisor to clients on commercial risk and delivery strategy Supports commercial governance through second-opinion advice and peer review Represents WT in complex, high-trust client environments Internal Capability & Mentoring Supports WT teams with commercial insight and judgement on complex engagements including estimating Mentors staff in commercial negotiation, risk thinking, and procurement strategy Contributes to the development of WT's broader advisory offering in infrastructure Assist in Business Development (meeting with clients, input into tenders, thought pieces, attending industry events) Additional Information Southern Cross medical insurance Paid professional memberships- support in gaining and supporting your membership costs for RICS or NZIQS WT's balanced way of working If you're keen to advance and broaden your career within the consulting & advisory industry, then this could be a fantastic opportunity for you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
