Business Analyst - Enterprise Solutions Programme Location: Gisborne | Type: Full-time, Fixed term until June 2028 Join a transformative, organisation-wide ERP replacement programme reshaping how Council works for our community. At Gisborne District Council, we’re replacing our core ERP systems to better serve our people, our whenua, and our future. Our Enterprise Solutions Programme is a major organisational-wide initiative, and we’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst to help deliver integrated, future-fit solutions across Council. As a Business Analyst in the Enterprise Solutions Programme, you’ll play a key role in implementing TechnologyOne across Council hubs and business units. You’ll work closely with programme teams to align people, processes, and technology - ensuring solutions are well-designed, user-friendly, and strategically aligned with Council’s goals. This is a hands-on role requiring strong analytical skills, stakeholder engagement, and a passion for continuous improvement. You’ll support everything from feasibility analysis and process mapping to training and post-implementation support. Lead requirements gathering, process analysis, and design solutions to build and configure a fit-for-purpose system that meets organisational needs Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation to support user testing, adoption and decision making Facilitate user acceptance testing and deliver training resources Support change management and knowledge transfer across teams Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful implementation Minimum 3 years’ experience in business analysis, ideally in ERP or system implementation Strong skills in process mapping, documentation, and stakeholder engagement High level of computer literacy and understanding of ICT concepts Experience with TechnologyOne or similar systems is a bonus Knowledge of local government operations and legislation is desirable Commitment to te Tiriti o Waitangi and respectful engagement with tangata whenua Work-life balance: Hybrid options and flexible hours Wellbeing first: Ora Day, Piritahi Day, EAP, flu jabs, health checks – plus discounted membership with Fitness Passport giving you access to gyms and pools across Aotearoa Perks: Modern offices, eye exams, Southern Cross discounts, retail perks Growth: A values-led environment where your development is supported Location: Live and work in stunning Gisborne – close to the beach, rivers and bush Gisborne District Council is one of only six unitary authorities in Aotearoa, meaning we deliver both district and regional council mahi.
