You’ll design and deliver smart, streamlined HR reporting that brings workforce trends to life and helps leaders make confident, informed decisions. From uncovering insights that shape workforce planning to evolving remuneration and benefits programmes, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our approach is competitive, fair and aligned with where the business is heading. You’ll also keep a close eye on the market, using data and insights to help shape remuneration strategies that support our Diversity, Empowerment and Inclusion (DEI) objectives. Key responsibilities Analyse HR metrics, workforce data and market trends to identify insights, emerging trends and opportunities that inform workforce planning, HR policy and continuous improvement. Develop and present clear, meaningful reporting on remuneration, workforce analytics and DEI metrics, providing senior leaders with insights and recommendations to support decision making. Conduct remuneration market research and benchmarking to ensure salary and benefits remain competitive, fair and aligned with business needs. Support the CPO and HRBPs to develop and evolve NZX’s remuneration strategy and frameworks, including benchmarking, pay equity and job evaluation. Analyse remuneration data and provide evidence-based recommendations to the CPO and senior leadership on salary positioning, adjustments, bonuses and incentives. Lead the annual remuneration review process, working closely with HR colleagues to bring together performance, remuneration and market data. Partner with HR and Finance to support accurate and timely payroll processing and ensure remuneration changes are implemented effectively. Keep across relevant New Zealand legislative, governance and reporting requirements relating to remuneration and benefits, including executive remuneration, pay equity and relevant ESG measures. Provide practical advice and guidance to managers on remuneration, benefits and related matters. Provide support to the NZX's current HRIS project with responsibilities in two phases: Selection & Evaluation - Gathering & analysis - Identify HR reporting, analytics and data management needs across HR and other teams and define reporting and data security requirements within NZ legislation and industry regulations. Assist with vendor assessment and system evaluation. Help co-ordinate data migration and plan for historical data retention. Implementation & Deployment - Co-ordinate data extraction and loading into new HRIS. Build standardised reports to meet NZX and regulatory reporting requirements. Assist with user acceptance testing. Support HR teams with training and documentation. Provide ongoing support with any HRIS enhancements. To be successful in this role, you will have: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or a related field preferred. Five years' experience in reporting and remuneration roles in either Financial Services, Professional Services or a large corporate company preferred. Minimum of three years of experience in data analytics or HR reporting roles. Interest and willingness to learn about remuneration frameworks and practices. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Good understanding of NZ employment laws and regulations (specifically Holidays Act, Pay Equity and Equal Pay). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Excellent working knowledge of HRIS and financial and reporting software. This is a full-time role based in either Auckland CBD or Wellington CBD . We’re ideally looking for someone to join us permanently, but we’re also open to considering a 6-month fixed-term arrangement for the right person.
