Registered Nurse - permanent night nurse

Te Hopai Home andHospital is an established and well respected Charitable Trust (since 1898) in Wellington offering rest-home, continuing (hospital level) and dementia care to older adults. As a registered nurse with us, you will work as part of a team of experienced registered nurses, all of whom provide exceptional care to our residents. About the role We are looking for an experienced registered nurse who is willing to work permanent night shifts. The special person we are looking for will have at least 2 years of experience working in an adult care setting in New Zealand. You will be part of a supportive team and have access to ongoing support, education, and training to meet your professional knowledge and experience. We use MediMap for medication management and also ECase for resident management. Training is available in both these systems. Benefits and perks We provide support for post-graduate studies and remuneration includes a night and weekend shift allowance. Kiwisaver is paid separately from the hourly rate offered. We have a private car park for staff. Skills and experience We are looking for: A registered nurse with a current NZ APC. Current resident in New Zealand (preferred). At least 2 years in caring for adults. A commitment to clinical quality, safety, and quality improvement. Passionate about the care of older adults and their families/whānau. $42-$50 per hour (depending on experience) +night/weekend duty allowance.
