About the opportunity | Mo te whai waahi We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Business Manager to join our Wealth Solutions team. Reporting to the Head of Wealth Solutions, this role plays a pivotal part in supporting the development, implementation and ongoing effectiveness of wealth solutions and strategies across JBWere. You will work closely with multiple functions across the business to drive strategic initiatives, support transformation activity, deliver business insights, and help ensure our client value proposition remains market-leading and fit for purpose. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys operating at both a strategic and operational level. You will collaborate across Advisory, Compliance, Innovation & Technology and other business units to support informed decision-making, drive business outcomes and contribute to the ongoing evolution of our client value proposition and the Wealth Solutions function. Support the development and ongoing delivery of Wealth Solutions capabilities and services. Maintain and enhance internal resources, including guidance notes, workflows and intranet content. Contribute to reviews of products, services and operating frameworks, assessing suitability, market positioning, commercial implications and client outcomes. Develop reporting and insights that support decision-making, prioritisation and business performance monitoring. Support client segmentation strategies and initiatives across key client groups. Partner with stakeholders across the business to drive collaboration, transparency and ownership of strategic initiatives. Support transformation, integration and change activities across the Wealth Solutions function. Identify opportunities to improve processes and implement enhancements where appropriate. Monitor and manage risks, issues and compliance obligations relevant to Wealth Solutions. Build strong stakeholder relationships and influence outcomes across a broad range of internal and external audiences. Track strategic projects and initiatives to ensure effective prioritisation and delivery. What you will bring to the role | He aha ka kawea e koe ki te mahi You will be a highly organised and commercially aware professional with strong analytical capability and a passion for driving client outcomes. Key requirements include: Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline. 5-8 years' experience within financial services and/or consulting environments. Experience contributing to strategy, transformation and change initiatives. Proven ability to work across multiple business functions to deliver outcomes. Experience preparing business cases, recommendations, reporting and process documentation. Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate and communicate meaningful insights. Knowledge of wealth management services and the broader regulatory environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability. Ability to balance multiple priorities and manage competing demands. High attention to detail, sound judgement and discretion when handling confidential information. Commitment to collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement. Strong client focus with the ability to bring a client-centred perspective to business decisions.
