ALH is recruiting on behalf of one of Taranaki's leading boutique event hire businesses for an experienced Team Leader to join their close-knit team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys leading from the front, thrives in a hands‑on environment, and takes pride in delivering exceptional events. From weddings and corporate functions to large‑scale community events, no two days are the same. About the Role As the Team Leader, you'll oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the crew, ensuring equipment is prepared, transported and installed safely and efficiently. You'll be responsible for organising work, working together and supporting the team on‑site, and maintaining high standards of customer service and presentation. This is a physical, practical role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves. What We're Looking For Has previous leadership or supervisory experience. Is physically fit and enjoys hands‑on work. Has excellent organisational and planning skills. Is a practical problem solver with a positive attitude. Has strong communication and people skills. Is reliable, resilient and takes ownership of their work. Can confidently use tools and equipment. Holds a Class 2 licence (preferred but training can be provided) Experience within the events, marquee hire, construction, logistics or equipment hire industries will be highly regarded.
