Housekeeping Supervisor (HRQT)

Hurley's of Queenstown are currently looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. Company: HRQT Limited Pay Rate: $28 per hour Minimum: 30 hours per week Would prefer: Minimum 1 – 2 year experience in Housekeeping Supervise staff on a daily basis to ensure they are completing their tasks adequately Assist with training housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasks Supervise and ensure thorough cleaning of the common areas, bedrooms, bathrooms and other areas on the property. Ensure that the staff is loading all housekeeping amenities including soap, shampoo, toilet paper, cleaning products in rooms and storage areas Assist with ordering linen and towel supplies on request of the manager Supervise to ensure that the staff is removing all rubbish from the rooms and common areas and rubbish is discarded properly in the bins provided. Supervise stripping and making of beds, and changing bed linen Transport Housekeeping supplies around the complex Supervise the staff to ensure they are cleaning all glass and mirror surfaces areas Ensure any repair or maintenance work is reported to the Housekeeping Manager or Motel/Hotel Manager Supervise and participate in deep cleaning, seasonal cleaning & occasional carpet cleaning Participate in Front office duties as and when required Carry out general upkeep of indoor & outdoor plants, gardens and keep space tidy Perform any other tasks required by the Employer / Manager – Queenstown-Lakes District, South Island #J-18808-Ljbffr
