Your new role This is a newly created Senior Product Owner position taking ownership of a key targeting domain that connects marketers with consumers. You’ll define where the product goes next, own a 12-month roadmap and work closely with two capable engineering squads based in Poland. Rather than simply managing delivery, you’ll bring clarity to complex problems, make informed product trade-offs and help turn an established capability into a product with a clear future direction. Responsibilities Own and develop the 12-month product roadmap for the targeting domain Lead problem and solution discovery to understand customer and user needs Prioritise an established backlog against the product vision and business objectives Balance customer value, technical feasibility, usability and business viability Translate stakeholder needs into clear outcomes for engineering teams Work collaboratively with engineering to navigate ambiguity, technical constraints and competing priorities Improve the flexibility and transparency of targeting and campaign capabilities Coordinate with product, engineering, design, data and customer-facing stakeholders Maintain a well-defined and prioritised backlog Participate in relevant Scrum and delivery ceremonies Mentor and support other Product Owners while contributing to improved product practices Requirements Strong experience as a Senior Product Owner or in a comparable senior product role Demonstrated experience owning and delivering against a 12-month product roadmap Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills Strong customer and value-focused product mindset Comfortable operating in complex environments where priorities can change Proven ability to make progress when requirements or solutions are not immediately clear Collaborative approach to working with autonomous engineering teams Ability to have meaningful technical conversations with engineers and understand technical risks and constraints Experience balancing customer value, usability, technical feasibility and commercial considerations Martech, loyalty or customer targeting experience would be highly advantageous SaaS and customer journey or customer flow experience would be beneficial Experience working effectively with remote or distributed engineering teams would be advantageous You must have a valid working visa for NZ.
