Assistant Groundsman

We are looking for an Assistant Groundskeeper to join our close-knit team. This role will see you assisting to manage our beautiful Lodge and 8 acres of gardens. Managing all lodge lawns including being proficient in the software required to control the irrigation system Conduct garden tours as requested Assist the Head Groundsman in the maintenance of all lodge gardens To be proficient in the use of chemicals, sprays and the safe handling of such substances To assist with the training of new staff members in the department To be an efficient part of the Huka Lodge team by maintaining effective communication and by practising “attention to detail” Maintain a clean working environment around the lodge, ensuring all equipment is used in the correct manner To ensure correct procedures with reference to security, Health & Safety and fire procedures are adhered to at all times Plant and weed in gardens and grounds as directed #J-18808-Ljbffr
