Join our busy, growing contract brewery in a pivotal, filler-focused role. You will spend the vast majority of your day operating beverage filling machinery, ensuring carbonation levels and product quality remain flawless. When the filler is not running, you will assist the crew with critical preventative maintenance across our packaging line. Experience with manual can and bottle fillers, carbonation, and tank-to-filler setup is the key requirement for this role. While maintenance is a shared crew responsibility, we are happy to teach you our specific routines as long as you bring strong natural mechanical ability We are a small, tight-knit group, so a strong team ethic is essential. There will be times when you will be required to assist in other areas of the operation. We are currently experiencing exciting growth, and, for a short period, there may be some longer shifts or varied start and finishing times. Flexibility around working hours will be required. Key Responsibilities Primary Beverage Filler Operation: Safely set up and run manual can and bottle filling machinery from tank to filler Quality & Parameter Control: Follow complex standard operating procedures to maintain precise carbonation and filling parameters Line Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Diagnose packaging line breakdowns and carry out planned preventative maintenance routines. Fault Reporting: Monitor machine performance and clearly communicate technical issues or machinery changeover needs to the team Data Recording : Accurately log daily production metrics, operational data and maintenance checks to maintain precise quality records Operational Flexibility: Learn machinery changeovers and provide packaging line cover or general operational assistance when required Skills and Experience Required Filler Experience: Experience with both automatic and manually operated fillers would be advantageous, with manual operation being the system we have. Must have experience with set up from tank to filler. Product Experience: Working with carbonated beverages and beer a definite advantage. Technical Background: A background in food technology or a strong understanding of mechanical process is highly desirable High-Level English Comprehension: Excellent verbal and written English skills are essential to read complex technical manuals and accurately record written operation data. Clear Communication: Ability to articulate technical machine problems quickly and effectively within a fast-paced environment. High-level verbal skills required to convey clear information to the team. Problem-Solving: Good analytical skills with a collaborative, solution-focused approach to breakdowns. Team Fit: High attention to detail, a flexible attitude to hours, and a willingness to be a hands-on, pro-active team player This is a full time position.
