We are seeking an outstanding, subject-specialist English teacher to join our team for the 2027 school year. As students transition into senior secondary levels (NCEA), specialist expertise becomes vital to driving excellence, fostering critical thinking, and delivering a high-quality curriculum aligned with a biblical worldview. The role Position 0.4 FTTE (Part-Time), with potential to scale up to 0.6 FTTE based on subject combinations and timetable needs. Levels Year 9-13 Start Date Term 1, 2027. Key responsibilities and attributes Deliver engaging, high-quality English instruction tailored to student needs. Demonstrate deep subject-matter expertise, particularly in senior NCEA assessment and curriculum standards. Integrate Christian faith and values naturally into everyday teaching and learning. Support and contribute actively to the special character and community life of our school. Qualifications and requirements NZ registered teacher (or holding valid registration and practicing certificate). Proven track record of successful English teaching at secondary level.
