Construction Site Traffic Controller

Personnel Touch Christchurch – Christchurch, South Island We are looking for a switched on traffic controller to help keep things running safely and smoothly on a busy construction site. This job is about keeping an eye on vehicles and people moving around site, controlling access, helping with deliveries and visitors, and making sure barriers, signs, and no go areas are set up right and kept that way. You will need to be comfortable talking with workers, subcontractors, and visitors, using the radio, and sorting out issues as they come up. You will also help keep the site looking tidy and professional, back up emergency procedures when needed, and make sure everyone on site follows the rules and safety requirements. To do well in this role, you will need good awareness of what is going on around you, confidence working around plant and machinery on an active site, strong communication skills, and a solid attitude when it comes to keeping standards up.
