Contract : Permanent, Full-time (minimum 30 hours per week) on a rotating roster Pay : $29 - $31 per hour, based on experience Location : Queenstown, Otago – On-site role About the role Nestled in one of the world's most breathtaking destinations, Azur Lodge is renowned for its luxury, warmth, and exceptional guest experiences. We're looking for a Lodge Host to join our dedicated front office team and help us create unforgettable moments for every guest. Key responsibilities Warmly welcoming guests and managing check-in/check-out procedures Handling reservations and managing the reservation inbox Supporting with daily reports, guest profiles, and handovers Processing payments accurately and efficiently Answering and managing phone calls in a professional and friendly manner Providing concierge services and assisting with guest inquiries, requests, and bookings Managing lodge attendants and housekeeping teams to ensure seamless lodge operations and guest experiences Personally escorting guests to their villas and providing property orientation Anticipating guest needs and proactively offering assistance Handling guest feedback and resolving minor issues with professionalism and care About you Preferred: 1 year's experience in a similar hospitality or customer service role A professional and polished presentation Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality service Flexible, adaptable, and always bringing a positive and friendly attitude Knowledge of the Queenstown area and local attractions is an advantage Flexibility to work morning and evening shifts across seven days, including weekends and public holidays is essential About us Azur Lodge is an award-winning luxury lodge overlooking Lake Wakatipu, just five minutes from central Queenstown.
