Programmed Maintenance Services – Mount Maunganui, North Island We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist / CNC Programmer who enjoys challenging, custom-machined work. This is not a repetitive production machining role. You'll be responsible for taking engineering drawings, creating programs, setting up machines and producing high-quality finished components across a variety of projects. The majority of work involves machining engineering plastics, with some composite and metal machining. Key Responsibilities Program CNC machines from engineering drawings Create and optimise CAM programs Set up and operate CNC milling and turning machines Manufacture precision custom components to tight tolerances Inspect and verify finished parts Select appropriate tooling and machining strategies Troubleshoot machining and programming issues Work closely with the wider engineering team to deliver quality outcomes Maintain a high standard of workshop safety and housekeeping What We’re Looking For Proven CNC programming experience Experience with CNC milling and turning Experience machining engineering plastics Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Strong understanding of machining principles and tolerances Experience using CAM software What’s On Offer?
