Archway Recruitment – Wellington Central, North Island Our client is seeking an experienced Banking Officer to join their Financial Services team on a 12 month fixed term contract. This is a varied role that will see you manage banking activities, foreign currency transactions and corporate credit card administration. About the role In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the organisation’s day-to-day banking and financial services activities. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Managing domestic and FX bank accounts and transactions Managing a sizeable portfolio of corporate credit cards including managing requests, new accounts, limits and card controls Supporting card cancellations, replacements and suspected fraudulent transactions Reviewing supplier details and banking information Bank reconciliations Reconciling foreign exchange transactions Following up on returned payments and responding to information requests from banking providers Monitoring banking regulations particularly Anti-Money Laundering requirements Acting as a key liaison with domestic and international banking providers About you We are looking for an experienced Banking Officer or Financial Services Officer who is looking for their next opportunity within a large and complex public sector environment.You will be a proactive and customer-focused professional with strong attention to detail and the ability to build effective relationships across a diverse stakeholder group.
