Chubb New Zealand is looking for an Accident & Health Claims Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality claims services across corporate and leisure A&H portfolios. This role provides technical, operational, and people leadership, managing complex claims, developing team capability, and driving continuous improvement across claims operations. What you'll own Leading the assessment and management of large and complex A&H claims within delegated authority Providing technical guidance and decision support on escalated, non-routine, and sensitive claims matters Leading, coaching, and developing team members to build capability and sustained high performance Monitoring and improve claims performance through data, reporting, and operational insights Overseeing claims operations for new A&H products, including vendor liaison and process improvement Building and maintain effective working relationships across claims, underwriting, business services, and broker partners Qualifications What you'll bring Minimum 5 years' experience in accident, health, and complex travel claims Demonstrated ability to interpret policy wording and make complex claim decisions Experience managing a team Strong knowledge of insurance claims processes, contracts, and NZ A&H coverages Understanding of NZ legal and regulatory requirements relevant to insurance claims Ability to work effectively with overseas technical and claims teams It's a good time to join - this role plays a key part in claims operations for new A&H products coming online, giving you real input into how the team's processes, product wording, and service delivery evolve from the ground up. #J-18808-Ljbffr
