Surfacing Staff | Operators, Drivers & Labourers Surfacing season is coming. We need crew. Whether you run the paver, drive the truck or work the chip, we've got a spot for you. The Temp Company works with some of New Zealand's busiest surfacing contractors, and our clients are gearing up for a big season. We're part of the MW Group alongside Men at Work Traffic Management, so you're dealing with a New Zealand business that knows roading from the inside. We have work available for experienced surfacing staff and for keen people willing to learn on the chip seal and asphalt crews. Roles we're filling: Bitumen / Emulsion Sprayer Operator Roller Operator (asphalt and chip seal) Milling Operator Chip Runner and chip seal crew Truck Drivers, Class 4 and 5 (asphalt, chip truck and general) What you'll bring: Experience in surfacing, roading or civil works (essential for operator and driver roles) Class 4 or 5 licence with current endorsements for driving roles, Class 1 minimum for labouring A solid work ethic and reliability, seasonal work means long days and early starts Willingness to work outdoors in all conditions and travel to sites as required Site Safe or equivalent an advantage, but we can help you get there You’ll need to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and hold the legal right to work in New Zealand.
