Store Manager - Gisborne

We have an exciting opportunity for a Store Manager at our store ToolShed Gisborne, at 460 Gladstone Road, Gisborne. The ToolShed is one of New Zealand's leading retailers in the powertool, hardware and DIY categories. Founded over 27 years ago, the ToolShed is a New Zealand owned family business with over 30 stores nationwide. We pride ourselves on our service, and range of products. We envisage you'll enjoy being part of a small but dedicated team. This role is heavily focused on customer experience. You'll be that person that engages well with others, and you thrive on motivating staff, and providing the right solutions for the varied needs of our customers. This position is Monday to Friday (7.30am to 5.00pm) with a requirement to fill in on the odd Saturday if required. About you: Management experience and the ability to multi task, proven retail sales experience and strong customer focus are a necessity. Ideally, you are available to start soon and are: Familiar with, and have a good product knowledge of tools Proficient computer skills Ability to work unsupervised Team player with a positive, "let's do it" attitude A genuine ability to build rapport with both the team and the customers What's in it for you?
