Practice Manager

Hamilton East Dentists Ltd – Hamilton East, North Island Hamilton East Dental Centre is seeking an experienced, organised and people-focused Practice Manager to lead our busy and well-established dental practice. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys supporting a clinical team, improving systems and creating an excellent experience for both patients and staff. Key responsibilities Oversee the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice Lead, support and coordinate the reception and clinical teams Manage staff rosters, leave and daily workflow Maintain high standards of patient service and complaint resolution Monitor appointment books, recalls, cancellations and chair utilisationSupport recruitment, induction, training and staff performance Oversee accounts, invoicing, payments and general administration Maintain practice policies, records and compliance systems Manage stock levels, ordering and supplier relationships Work closely with the Operations Manager, dentists and practice owners Help improve practice efficiency, productivity and profitability About you Previous experience as a dental Practice Manager, Clinical Manager, senior receptionist or similar healthcare leadership role Strong leadership and team-management skills Excellent communication and conflict-resolution abilities A warm, professional and patient-focused approach Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Confidence managing staff, systems and competing priorities Good computer, administrative and financial skills Knowledge of dental practice software and regulatory requirements would be advantageous A full-time, long-term leadership position (4 days/week minimum & no weekends) Competitive remuneration based on experience Support from an experienced Operations Manager and practice owners A friendly and professional clinical team Opportunities for training and career development The stability and resources of an established multi-practice dental group The opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the growth and success of the practice #J-18808-Ljbffr
