We are seeking candidates to work for our plants in Hawera, Taranaki. Meat Process Workers Our teams across New Zealand are seeking to employ staff at the peak of season and are a significant local contributor to the community. Job requirements: A team player who can work closely with others. Up to 1 season or more relevant work experience Be eligible to work in New Zealand Working arrangements: Earn a minimum of $815.40 to $864.60 gross per week. Minimum 30 hours per week Shift times vary from 5.50am to 3.30pm and 2.50pm to 12.00am depending on site location We pay a minimum of $27.18 hourly and maximum of $28.82 hourly Job Duties: Processing duties and tasks including but not limited to the following Load cartons onto pallets or containers Process by-products Clean and sanitise equipment and work areas. Process hides and pelts Pack boned and sliced meat into cartons Move carcasses to chillers and freezers Trim carcasses of foreign material Silver Fern Farms is working hard to maintain a drug and alcohol-free workplace.Pre-employment drug screening is mandatory.
