About the role: In this role, you'll provide outstanding hospitality to our visitors at our souvenir and gift shop located in the Waitomo Glowworm Cave Centre. Your passion for delivering top-notch customer service, along with your knowledge of our products and the local area, will ensure a premium shopping experience for our guests. Key Responsibilities: Deliver exceptional customer service to all visitors. Stay up to date with all Waitomo attractions, products, and services. Connect with visitors from diverse cultures and backgrounds. Offer helpful insights on the local area and North Island attractions. What We're Looking For: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience in retail, sales, merchandising, or stockroom work (advantageous). Passion for the local area and a desire to showcase its hidden gems. Ability to create memorable and authentic visitor experiences. Friendly, confident, and outgoing with the ability to start conversations easily. Professionalism, excellent presentation, and strong interpretation skills.
