You must be keen to learn, be honest with integrity and be a team player. 5 axis skills would be preferable but not essential. This role is Full time Permanent with a minimum of 40 hours per week, 7:00am-3:30pm weekdays. Qualifications & experience A minimum of 5 years' experience running 3, 4 & 5 axis machines. Able to make minor changes on the control. Experience with CAM software (Siemens NX) would be a bonus. Strong attention to detail and great problem-solving abilities. Extensive knowledge of measuring techniques and using a range of measuring equipment. Have a positive can-do attitude, able to work to deadlines and be a part of a strong dynamic team. Must have CNC precision manufacturing experience. Key Tasks & responsibilities Setting and operating 3, 4 & 5 axis CNC machines as well as other workshop equipment. Performing minor program modifications on Siemens NX software. Reading and interpreting CAD models and drawings. Machining of components, Jigs and fixtures to complete the required components. Conducting in process inspection on parts and QC duties when required. Running machines simultaneously from time to time. Deburring parts to specification.
