We pride ourselves on maintaining excellence in everything we do. The Role Tootill Services is looking for a qualified and experienced person to join our growing team as a Service Manager. Must have 15+ years of trade experience, with a high level of competence in servicing, repairing and maintaining commercial appliances. Applicants with previous refrigeration experience will be strongly considered. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the technicians and apprentices within your team at Tootill Services, while organising and overseeing all work assigned to you, and directly report to our Operations Manager. We will provide training to develop your skills and knowledge, however an interest for learning new things is essential. You will primarily work with maintaining, servicing and repairing commercial kitchen and laundry equipment making your job varied and interesting. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and capable of leading small teams. Our workshop is based in Palmerston North, and we serve the Manawatū-Whanganui and upper Wellington Regions. Considering Relocating? Applicants Would Need: Be a New Zealand qualified and registered electrician. Practical mindset, common sense and to be able to think on your feet. Hold a current EWRB practicing license. Have a clean full NZ driver’s license. Be professional, honest and trustworthy. Take pride in your work and be proactive when necessary. Great people skills, both with fellow workmates and customers. Be able to work un-supervised, run your own jobs and train apprentices. Able to successfully pass police checks and security clearances for various Government sites.
