Parliamentary Service New Zealand – Wellington Central, North Island Our Customer Service team are the face of Parliament! They have a very clear and easy to understand mission, that is to provide rich and meaningful connections between the public and parliament. We are not just the face of Parliament at our reception desks, and the voice of Parliament on the phone, but we are also the engine room that works behind the scenes to support our teams to provide a high-level of customer service for all our internal and external customers. No two days are ever the same and you'll get a chance to engage with a wide variance of people from all walks of life. The role is an equal mix of face-to-face customer service, and behind the scenes administration to support our systems and other teams to do their work. We're entering an exciting time for our Customer Service Centre; Election 2026 on the horizon and a new building soon opening, we’re looking for talented people to join us. Tō kete | What You’ll Bring: We're looking for someone who's passionate about people, is motivated to provide an exceptional customer experience every time and can work within our collaborative and busy team. We're also looking for: The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people. A drive to provide warm, welcoming, excellent customer service to all. Resilience under pressure and an ability to deal with difficult interactions. An ability to adapt and learn quickly, and a positive approach to change. Problem solving and organisational skills. Confidence using MS office suite. Flexibility within your role and a 'can-do' attitude. These opportunities include a full-time fixed-term role until November 2026, a full-time fixed term position until March 2027, and the option to join our casual Customer Service Support pool for future work.
