Painter and Decorator / Pintor at Dekorador Canstaff – Horowhenua District, North Island Our client needs painters/decorators in the Levin area for permanent, full-time work. About the Role Working with customers, you'll help with colour selection and then calculate materials required for a job to provide accurate quotes. Some sites may need you to fill holes, cracks and joins, and prep surfaces before painting, although you'll predominantly work in new housing developments. Occasionally, you'll cut and hang wallpaper, vinyl and backing paper, as well as decorative paint finishes such as glazing, graining, marbling and lettering. Erect scaffolding ( Prep surfaces Mix and apply paint About You You have a good understanding of colour and are knowledgeable about different paints and wall coverings. You possess painting and decorating skills and techniques (or are looking to get into the painting trade!) and are aware of health and safety precautions.
