We are looking for a Product Director with strong digital health experience and a practical understanding of healthcare interoperability. This role will help shape products that connect healthcare providers, systems, and workflows across Australia and New Zealand. What You’ll Be Doing As a Product Director, you will act as the key link between customers, technology, sales, marketing, and senior leadership, translating customer needs, market insights, and business priorities into clear product plans. You will champion customer-focused, commercially strong solutions that support growth, adoption, and continuous improvement in a dynamic healthcare technology environment. Key responsibilities include: Own and evolve the product roadmap in line with business strategy and customer needs. Gather customer, market, and stakeholder insights to guide product priorities. Partner with technology teams to define clear requirements and support delivery. Collaborate with sales and marketing to support product positioning, launch, and adoption. Communicate roadmap decisions, priorities, progress, and trade-offs to stakeholders. Monitor healthcare technology trends, competitors, and regulatory requirements. Use data and feedback to inform decisions and measure product success. Lead and coach team members, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate will have worked with health technology products that support the NZ and/or AU healthcare providers through secure information exchange, integration, messaging, referrals, clinical documents, provider directories, or health data workflows. Experience with interoperability standards such as FHIR and HL7 will be highly regarded. You will bring: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience Background in digital, SaaS, healthcare technology, or complex technology-enabled products. Experience working with cross-functional teams, including technology, sales, marketing, and customer-facing teams. Strong understanding of product roadmaps, prioritisation, stakeholder engagement, and customer-led product development. Familiarity with healthcare standards, privacy, compliance, or interoperability requirements is advantageous. Desirable but not essential: Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business, Product Management, or a related field. Professional training or certification in product management or agile delivery (e.g., Pragmatic Institute, AIPMM, Scrum, SAFe, or similar). Further education such as MBA or postgraduate qualification in healthcare management, technology, or strategy is an advantage.
